Street Week - The Ultimate Race Challenge
200 competing teams drive between five different tracks during an intense week to chase the fastest track times. This is Drag and Drive at its best, where the fastest average ET from the week crowns a winner.
Five tracks in seven days
Five race tracks are visited according to a driving schedule where participants aim to clock the fastest time possible on a 200-meter track. Between the tracks, the cars are driven under their own power, and all spare parts and tools used must be transported along with the competition car, with or without a trailer.
The result is as much a lifestyle event and rolling car meet as it is a motorsport and endurance competition. All competitive activities take place on the five tracks, where no one is rewarded for driving too fast on the transport sections. On the contrary, penalty time can be imposed if participants misbehave in traffic. Ten checkpoints, i.e., two per day, must be marked off along the way to the next track and are part of the competition procedure. Those of you who have participated before will experience completely new checkpoints.
At the end of the week, an average time is calculated from the participant's lowest recorded time from each track, where participants in each class must also have passed all checkpoints under their own power. Thus, it is not only about having the fastest average time from the five tracks, but the car must also function as a transport vehicle between the competition tracks.
At each track, you will find a market area where, in addition to buying good food, you can meet several of Street Week's sponsors who are eager to showcase what they excel at.
The popularity of Street Week among participants has been demonstrated during registration, as the previous year's quota of 200 participants has been filled within minutes of the registration opening.
Don't miss Street Week, always during week 27/28.
