One of Street Week's most diligent major sponsors, Verktygsboden has been a favorite among participants when their products are distributed during the prize ceremony on the last day. Few companies have been as involved in the vehicles that roll at Europe's largest Drag 'n' Drive.
Every entrepreneur knows that your greatest asset is trust. When Lars Edwardsson started working with Verktygsboden in the 90s, the goal was not just to sell products. It was very much about communicating with the customer and finding out what they want to take the next step.
The company not only has the classic socket sets or power tools in its range, but everything from complete machine parks for sheet metal forming, lathes, milling machines, blasting cabinets, and motorcycle and car lifts in its catalog. At the same time, they conduct courses to teach customers how to use their tools and machines in the best and safest way.
– The course activities mainly focus on sheet metal forming and body building. So we hold courses and the customer leaves with valuable knowledge AND a discount on the product, says Lars, who knows that satisfied customers return.
Verktygsboden has also been a sponsor of Street Week Sweden since 2017 because Europe's largest Drag 'n' Drive fits the image of the average customer. Someone who builds themselves and develops with their hobby.
– Carrying out Street Week is an achievement like no other! You should use your hobby vehicles and this is worth so much more than just showcasing something that is dead. Many who are involved in this are also entrepreneurs who not only tinker on the weekend but for most of the waking hours of the week. Then quality is needed! Street Week is serious and it's clear that this is exactly where we should be seen, says Lars.
Currently, Verktygsboden is launching a completely new series of sheet metal forming tools. We are confident that these tools will become the tools that shape tomorrow's Street Week finalists. Perhaps as early as next year.
